General Terms of Conditions


Scope of Application

 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all legal transactions between Chelsea-Connects der Hubac Jennifer (hereinafter referred tp as "Chelsea-Connects" or "Organiser") and their clients, especially regarding the services that are provided as part of the language courses and activities offered by Chelsea-Connects.

These General Terms and Conditions in their current version are applicable from the time of execution of the contract. The General Terms and Conditions also apply to all future agreements, even when these agreements are not expressly referred to.

Registration

The registration must be submitted in writing (by email to: office@chelsea-connects.eu) by Chelsea-Connects. You are considered enrolled in a course as soon as you have made the required payments and your registration has been confirmed.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. It is necessary to register at least 14 days before the start of any course. Each application should contain all necessary personal information, as well as the course title and the course number in which the participant would like to enrol. Applications by anyone under the age of 18 must also include the signature of a parent or legal guardian.

Payment

Course fees must be paid at least 14 days prior to the start of the course. Payments can be made via bank transfer (and must be sent without any additional fees incurred by receiver) to HUBAC JENNIFER at Raiffeisenkasse Eisacktal-Casse Rurale Valle Isarco,
IBAN: IT8510830759090000301004921

The client agrees that in the event of late payment, all costs necessary for appropriate legal prosecution, costs for reminders and collection charges, as well as standard default interest shall be their sole responsibility.

Rebooking a Course

Depending on availability, and for a handling fee of EURO 35,- you can rebook your course once after agreement with the organiser, and up to 14 days before the start of the course.

Continuining Courses

If you have participated in one of our courses, and ae considering attendin another course, pelase follow the registration process as described above. There is no automatic reservation in place for subsequent courses.

Compensation for Damages

The paricipants are liable for all damages caused by them and are obliged to pay compensation according to applicable law. We do to not provide accident or health insurance for the participants. Legal guardians are responsible for any participant under the age of 18 ( at time of registration)

Exclusion of Liability

We assume no responsibility for the personal items and/or documents of the participants, even in the case of theft.

Course Cancellation Policy/Excursion of a Participant due to Misconduct

Chelsea-Connects reserves the right to cancel any course or service agreement for compelling reason, and to exclude the participants from further participation in the respective course. Compelling reason can be but is not limited to: the minimun number of participants envisaged for the respective course was not met; the language trainer appointed for the course is not available; the course cannot be carried out (any longer) due to other reasons. If a course is cancelled under this policy, the participant will be reimbursed the entie course fee.

In the first event that, despite a first warning, a course cannot be carried out properly due to the misconduct of a participant, or if complaints are continuously made to the organiser about said participant, the organiser shall be entitiled to exclude the respective participant from further activities. In this case the participant will receive a prorated refund of course fees for any classes not yet attended.

Absence

In the case of irregular attendance of sessions, neither a reimbursement of the course fee, nor an extension of the course is possible. The organiser must be notified about a cancellation for an individual tutoring session by 12 pm the day prior to the session. If a participant is more than 20 minutes late for an individual tutoring session, the session will be fully charged. If the teacher is late, the session will be made up for. If the participant fails to attend the session, the session is deemed to be fulfilled and will be fully charged.

Course Fee and Course Material

The course fee includes course books and course materials. Documents provided by Chelsea-Connects may not be reproduced and are subject to copyright.

Obligation to Cooperate and Complaints

The participant is obligated to inform us in writing about any shortcomings via email
(office@chelsea-connects.eu). In the event of failure to comply with this obligation, the participant is not entitled to assert claims for warranty or damages.

Course Organiser and Sessions

Chelsea Connects der Hubac Jennifer is the course organiser.
One session lasts for 60min.

Miscellaneous

In the case that another teacher takes over any given course, the participant is not entitled to withdraw from the course. Modificatios and amendments must be submitted in writing. Chelsea-Connects reserves the right to make changes regarding the program, fees, or the General Terms and Conditions, without prior notice.

Data Protections

All personal details of the participants are kept confidential. The data will not be transferred to third parties and will serve exclusively as internal customer information for only Chelsea-Connects. Furthermore, the data-protection provisions, as available on this website, shall also apply.

Requirement for Written Form

Modifications or amendments to these conditions must be made in writing. Likewise, the deviation from this formal requirement must be made in writing as well.

In the event that any of the provisions in these General Terms and Conditions is, or is found to be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions and the contracts executed on their basis. The invalid provision(s) will be replaced with one matching the intended purpose as closely as possible.
